In Service to God

The first ever representative of the Bulgarian Holy Synod in the United Kingdom, Father Kazakin originally set foot in Britain way back in 1982. He had heard the call and was already dedicated to the true word of God. Bethrotal to God lasts a lifetime and it is difficult for the layman to imagine the dedication required to serve a cause that represents a 24 hours a day, seven days a week commitment. Father Kazakin is the face of Orthodox belief in the Sofia – The History of Europe documentary. He helps us go back in time an duncover the unfamiliar role the city of Holy Wisdom played in the history of Orthodoxy and Christianity in general. At all other times he can be found serving God in the cathedral church of the Sofia Orthodox Metropolitan, “St Nedelia”.
